In January of 2023, I discovered a set of old Reed yearbooks and was inspired to bring back the publication.

This was a test of organization, leadership, design, and effective marketing.

I wanted to create a yearbook that honored the college's calligraphy tradition and very untraditional style, but had a modern style.
I plastered old yearbook covers across campus to gain interest in my resurrection project.

I created an Instagram account advertising The Griffin, and tabled at the student engagement fair to get the word out.

The efforts were successful, with both staff and students talking about the return of the yearbook with excitement.

We received enough votes in the student body poll to secure 99% of our requested budget ($5,000).

To draw the attention of overworked seniors, I created eye-catching posters to put across campus.

To ensure that every senior had a photo they could use, I also decided to organize two picture days for seniors.
As a portrait photographer, I knew I'd be able to provide high-quality photos quickly and easily to seniors.
